Campus Food Security Initiative
Help us address food insecurity while supporting local farmers and promoting healthy eating.

The UTRGV Campus Food Security Initiative (CFSI) was established to address food insecurity on campus by creating easy access to locally grown fresh produce and plant-based food. CFSI provides access to fresh produce and nutritious meals under the pay-what-you-feel pricing model. Additionally, CFSI student employees teach their peers how to prepare healthy meals, how to start a home garden, and how to access food security resources and fresh produce from local farms.

CFSI is a student-centered and student-driven initiative with professional skills development and experiential learning for students through on-campus employment.

Visit the CFSI website to learn more about this initiative.
