The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine uses innovative, competency-based medical education to train the next generation of physicians. We develop students committed to improving their communities through research and compassionate, patient-centered care. The UTRGV School of Medicine also trains biomedical scientists who will advance research on diabetes, obesity, and infectious diseases that affect the Rio Grande Valley and beyond.
Your support will:
- Provide needed medical supplies and technology upgrades at student-run clinics that treat underserved areas across the Valley.
- Support much-needed travel funds for medical students who attend medical professional development conferences, special medical events, and research competitions.
- Address student emergencies when they arise through the School of Medicine Emergency Fund.
