The Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center's (ECC) mission is to assist entities and entrepreneurs in developing and expanding their ventures through education. ECC serves as a real-life entrepreneurship laboratory for the University and the community. Entrepreneurs can collaborate to take advantage of opportunities and create value through business incubation, training programs, workshops, networking, funding opportunities, and research in today's global environment. The ECC serves our local and regional startups, small to medium-sized business communities, and the international community, all while specializing in the entrepreneurs' needs.
Since 2011, the ECC has served entrepreneurs in business development by meeting their business needs through entrepreneurial programming, coaching, mentoring, and consultations. Our incubation services are led by trained staff members who guide the entrepreneur around what it takes to build a successful business venture. Staff members are certified in business coaching, incubation management, entrepreneurial development, mentoring, and technology commercialization.
