Support our work to transform the Rio Grande Valley and beyond!
The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine uses innovative, competency-based medical education to train the next generation of physicians. Our students are committed to improving the lives and well-being of their communities through research and compassionate, patient-centered care. We also train biomedical scientists who will lead the charge in advancing research on diseases such as diabetes, obesity, and infectious diseases that affect the Rio Grande Valley and beyond.
Your support will:
- Provide medical supplies and upgrades in technologies needed at student-run clinics that treat underserved areas across the Valley.
- Support much-needed travel funds for medical students who attend medical professional development conferences, special medical events, and research competitions.
- Address student emergencies when they arise through the School of Medicine Emergency Fund.
